Installed in a large silo related to pesticides.

This is an introduction to the installation case of large silos related to pesticides【Solving without incurring large costs】.

We received a consultation regarding a constant bridging issue in the lower hopper section of a 10m³ silo, which has been very difficult to address. Upon inquiry, it was found that other equipment like vibrators could not improve the situation, so manual hammering was being used on-site, resulting in deformation of the hopper section. Therefore, there was a request to modify this part (re-manufacturing only this section) by adopting a blow disc. After consultation, we decided on the model, position, and quantity, and proceeded with the implementation. As a result, bridging has completely ceased. Struggling with knockers! Vibrators only make it worse! Other aeration methods are also ineffective! If you are facing similar issues, please consult with us. *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog. *Our website features numerous case studies, which can be accessed via the link below.

0670 Installed in the baking soda silo

Introducing a case where we were consulted for problem-solving at a paper-related factory!

We would like to introduce a case study where our "Brodisk" was adopted. We received inquiries about the inability to discharge powder from a baking soda silo due to daily conditions (weather and humidity). We set up one Brodisk on a plate resembling a hopper wall and lent it out. The user then flowed air through the above-mentioned product to confirm air injection and vibration. Ultimately, they decided to implement it, and it is being used smoothly. [Case Overview] ■ Silo Diameter: Ø2000 ■ Discharge Diameter: Ø300 ■ Contents: Baking soda ■ Configuration and Quantity: 4 standard Brodisks arranged in 2 tiers ■ Control: A controller with 4 built-in solenoid valves intermittently aerates a total of 8 Brodisks, 2 at a time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0227 Installed in the silo of the quicklime feeding device.

Easily solve powder bridges that cannot be resolved with knockers or vibrators!

We received a consultation regarding the solution for rat holes from the equipment manager of a chemical company, which led to the installation of our equipment. 【Issue】 In the quicklime storage tank, air aeration was originally performed using 3/8B nozzles (8 locations) to address rat holes, but it was not completely effective. After installing an air knocker to resolve the issue, the discharge became even worse. 【Summary of Conditions】 ■ Silo Diameter: 2900φ ■ Discharge Diameter: 300φ ■ Powder Type: Quicklime 【Brodie Disk Installation Details】 ■ 16 standard Brodie disks installed in 3 layers (4 in the lower layer, 4 in the middle layer, 8 in the upper layer) ■ Using 4 solenoid valves with a controller (C-6), they are turned on sequentially in groups of 4 at 4 locations. Brodie disks are useful across various fields and industries, from small hoppers of a few liters to large silos. Please feel free to consult us for solutions to your challenges. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us. *Our website features numerous case studies, which you can check via the link below.

Installed in the anhydrous gypsum silo.

Introducing a case where a Brodisk was installed in a silo for anhydrous gypsum!

Here is a case where we received inquiries about unstable discharge from a silo of anhydrous gypsum. In conjunction with scheduled maintenance work, a blow disk was installed, and a controller with four solenoid valves was used to activate eight blow disks in pairs with a time delay. In this case, to increase the frequency of air activation for the four lower disks close to the discharge area, we recommended a setting to activate the air twice in succession. 【Case Overview】 ■ Material: Anhydrous gypsum (also mixed products in other silos) ■ Silo Diameter: 2000Ø ■ Discharge Section: 300A 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability due to the risk of foreign matter contamination. The silicone disks in our equipment are exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. We also have a dedicated controller available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Installed in the wood planer powder silo.

Easily solve unsolvable powder bridges! No more expensive equipment needed.

We received an inquiry from a machinery equipment manufacturer regarding a new silo installation project, and we would like to introduce a case where we supplied "Brodie Disks." The inquiry was based on their past experience with issues related to bridges, and they wanted to ensure adequate measures were taken for this new project. We installed 24 standard Brodie Disks: 4 on the first level, 4 on the second level, 8 on the third level, and 8 on the fourth level. Due to the shape of the silo (such as the angle of inclination), there was a possibility of not installing the fourth level and opting for 16 disks instead. However, considering the variations in the proportions of different powder types and seasonal risks, we decided to install 24 disks. [Case Overview] ■ Material: Wood planer dust, fine powder, sanding dust ■ Silo Diameter: Ø3800 ■ Discharge Outlet Dimensions: 300×300 ■ Discharge Device: Rotary Valve ■ Silo Volume: 40m3 ■ Discharge Rate: 10–20m3/hr *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
